The Committee

A Community Planning Committee (CPC) has been appointed by the elected officials of each of the involved communities. Including residents from Byron, Fort Valley, Warner Robins, and Peach County, this group’s primary responsibility is to facilitate the entire planning process.

The efforts of this group will be supported by the technical assistance provided by the departmental staff of the various communities and the Middle Georgia Regional Development Center (RDC). The membership of this group is diverse and represents a cross section of the community.

A primary goal of this group is to invite and encourage community participation throughout the planning process. A public participation program, designed to accomplish this goal, will be one of the first work products produced by the CPC.
